Cavin Johnson completed 10 DSTV Premiership matches as Kaizer Chiefs interim coach in their victory over Golden Arrows on Tuesday and numbers show how he has steadied the ship at Naturena.
Johnson, ironically, started his tenure in October last year with a 2-1 defeat to the same Arrows side they beat at FNB Stadium three days ago. That was one of only two defeats Amakhosi have suffered since he took over from Molefi Ntseki - the other loss was to the side they meet this weekend, Orlando Pirates.

While Chiefs have not scored too many goals under the leadership of Johnson, what stands out is the clean sheets. In the 10 Premiership matches, the Soweto giants have kept six clean sheets and have conceded as many.
Since giving Bruce Bvuma an opportunity to start his first game of the season against Moroka Swallows in November last year, the goalkeeper has only conceded once, in the 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United. It comes as no surprise that the goalkeeper has been included in Hugo Broos' preliminary squad for Bafana Bafana's friendly international matches against Algeria and Andorra later this month.
Nine goals have been scored during this period for Amakhosi, which should be of concern for the club. Ranga Chivaviro and Christian Saile have both scored two goals under Johnson, while the other goal scorers have been Sifiso Hlanti, Edson Castillo, Pule Mmodi, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Wandile Duba.
The players with the most appearances under Johnson are Yusuf Maart and Given Msimango with 10. They are the only two players who have featured in every match under Johnson.
