Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Gustavo Paez has joined a new club, following his exit from Amakhosi before the end of last season.
Having joined Chiefs in January 2017 from Venezuelan club Sociedad Civil Estudiantes De Marida FC, Paez parted ways with the Soweto giants in April after the club decided that his contract would not be renewed.

The 29-year-old has signed with Venezuelan club Atletico Venezuela as he looks to revive his career, after struggling for game-time at Chiefs.

Paez was released along with Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein, who joined Sabah FK in Azerbaijan, as well as Khotso Malope who has been signed by GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay FC.
The Venezuelan forward previously also played in Spain and Italy in his career.
