Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has suffered a major set back at new club and is expected to be out for some time.
After being released from Amakhosi last month, Bimenyimana went on to sign with Libyan giants Al Ahli Benghazi at the beginning of this month.

As the 25-year-old was looking to revive his career after his surprise departure from the Soweto giants, he picked up a serious injury while playing for the Burundian national team on Tuesday during their 3-0 loss to Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Rui Frois of FTI Academy, who is Bimenyimana's mentor and well known agent, has confirmed the news.
"Yes (he got injured in the game against Cameroon. It is not looking good and I hope he recovers soon. I wished him a speedy recovery and he must be strong," said Frois, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

As was reported by this publication, Bimenyimana's move to the Libyan club was concluded with a different representative but Frois isn't holding any grudges against the towering forward.
"We cannot blame young players, they have a lot to learn about life. We are just here to help them," he said.
