Mpangase has pleaded with Zuma to not ruin his future and to remember that football is a short career that needs a player's full focus and discipline.

"I would like to remind Dumisani Zuma that a football career is very short, regardless of how talented you are. Never forget that and always remind yourself of where you come from. He must not waste his precious time and destroy his reputation that can affect him even after football," Mpangase told the Siya crew.

"I don't know his surroundings or whatever, but that can't be excused because it is all about your own decisions. Also whatever you do, it can't be a problem. The issue starts when you fail to respect yourself, career, people around you and company you work for. He must learn from our mistakes as former footballers that ended up having bad reputations."

The former defender further advised Zuma to be strong and be able to deal with the frustrations of not getting game-time.

"He must be very strong mentally, even if you are not playing, try to always make sure frustrations doesn't affect you in how you behave. Zuma is loved by supporters and I don't think Chiefs would've kept him for so long if they didn't believe him. He should be grateful and stop this thing. Get help or else you will be another unfortunate statistic."
