Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfield maestro, Doctor Khumalo, has become the latest prominent figure to have his cell phone hacked by unscrupulous perpetrators.
Speaking to the Siya Crew, the Amakhosi legend revealed that he was alerted to the situation when one of his contacts allegedly received a suspicious message from his number.

"I want everyone out there to know that my phone number has been hacked and I am working very hard to find out who did this and get to the bottom of it. This person is sending messages to my contacts, and it looks like they are trying to hack them too.
"Everyone who has my number will know none of the messages allegedly sent by me sound original. The way this person addresses people is definitely not how I do things but, unfortunately, not everyone pays attention to such details. I don't want anyone to fall victim because there might be more messages and requests made on my behalf, when I know nothing about it," said the 56-year-old legend.

Cell phone hacking scam artists have been targeting PSL players and coaches, as they try to fleece the victim's contacts of money. George Maluleka, Katlego Mphela, Themba Zwane, Ronwen Williams, Joel Masutha, Kaitano Tembo, Andile Jali, Thabo Mnyamane, Siyabonga Nomvethe, Lebogang Mokoena and Pernell McKop are some of the prominent figures who have reportedly fallen victim to this practice in recent times.
