With Kaizer Chiefs reported to continue the trend of luring Mamelodi Sundowns players to Naturena, former midfielder Josta Dladla has revealed why it's easy for Sundowns players to join them.
Amakhosi have made the habit of signing Sundowns influential players, particularly who have contracts running out at Chloorkop.

The Glamour Boys have not only signed players from Masandawana who have reached their twilight but made coup signings like Khama Billiat, who was still at his peak but could not agree on a new contract extension with the Tshwane giants.
Chiefs reportedly came close to convincing Thembinkosi Lorch to joining them in the January transfer window but Masandawana did not agree to sell, while the likes of Sphelele Mkhulise and Themba Zwane are some of the Sundowns players who are out of contract at the end of June (although The Brazilians have an option on Mkhulise) and could be targeted by Amakhosi.
Dladla, who switched the yellow jersey to the gold and black in 2009, has revealed how his move came about, when his contract was up for renewal.
"How I ended up at Chiefs, I had a conversation with Brian (Baloyi), I used to share a room with Brian for like six, seven seasons at Sundowns, my best friend and I sat down with him and said, 'Sundowns don't want to give me the money, Chiefs have come through'," Dladla said on The George Mokoena podcast.
"The guy I was negotiating with (at Sundowns) said he will increase my salary by 5 percent, Mr (Patrice) Motsepe didn't want me to go but he kept on sending me to this guy who doesn't want to listen to me. I all I said to them was, 'Give me four more years and I'll stay at Sundowns'. This guy said 'No, but we can only give you 5 percent increase'.

"And I said, 'No ways! I want 100 percent increase! Chiefs came and said, 'We'll give you 100 percent increase'. Chiefs gave me the money and I left. Mr Motsepe was angry! Brian told me, 'I can't explain the feeling of playing for Chiefs until you're there, if Chiefs is giving you the money, I wouldn't want you to go but I wouldn't want to keep you away from having the feelings I had when I was at Chiefs, it's something you can take to the grave."
Chiefs recently brought on board Gaston Sirino from Sundowns at the beginning of the season.
