Kaizer Chiefs defender Thathayaone Ditlhokwe admits the club know very little about their Nedbank Cup opponents Milford FC - but he maintained that they are desperate to end their nine-year trophy drought.
The Botswana international was Chiefs' representative for the Nedbank Cup draw, which was held at the Nedbank head offices in Sandton on Thursday evening.
The defender is currently making his way back from a shoulder injury and has been a huge miss for both club and country.
In typical Nedbank Cup fashion, Chiefs were pitted against their Motsepe Foundation Championship counterparts for the round of 16 clash, with the specific dates yet to be confirmed.
Chiefs know all about coming up against minnows, having lost out to Baroka FC, The University of Pretoria and TS Galaxy respectively in recent years.
Speaking to the club's media department after the draw, Ditlhokwe stated his desire to deliver silverware to the dormant trophy cabinet at Naturena.
"The team that we were drawn against, we don't know much about it - but one thing for sure [is] that we must focus on ourselves, and we must work hard towards winning this cup because that's the only objective that we have on the table," he told the club's media department.
"We are training each and every day with one thing in mind, that at the end of the day, we must win silverware," he continued.
Milford FC, who hail from Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal, campaign in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, where they currently find themselves in 12th place on the log standings, having picked up five wins and four draws from their opening 17 matches.
They ended off last year with two consecutive wins, against Baroka FC and Black Leopards respectively.
