After Christian Saile Basomboli made a good start as a substitute against Royal AM, Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane could be tempted to start with the striker against TS Galaxy.
The Congolese forward made an impact by assisting Amakhosi's second goal against Royal AM, feeding Ashley du Preez with a good cross from the right. In the time he spent on the pitch, Basomboli may have made a strong case to make a start when the Soweto giants take on TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
In goal, Zwane could stick with Brandon Petersen after he kept a clean sheet against Royal AM. Petersen came in for Itumeleng Khune, who was on the bench. Siyabonga Ngezana could start at right back for Chiefs, due to injuries suffered by Dillan Solomons and Reeve Frosler.
This means Zitha Kwinika could make a return in central defensive alongside Edmilson Dove, after the former Stellenbosch FC player started on the bench in the last match.
Amakhosi confirmed Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has gone for surgery, which means Mduduzi Shabalala is likely to start in the number 10 role, with Keagan Dolly, Du Preez and Basomboli making up the attack.
