Siya sources have revealed that Kaizer Chiefs have faced challenges in securing some of their desired transfer targets and the club is believed to have made a crucial decision on their January transfer window budget.
Indications are that the club has allocated a budget of R60 million, which was used on Fiacre Ntwari, Bongani Sam, Inacio Miguel, Rushwin Dortley, and free agent Gaston Sirino.

However, sources close to the club have revealed to the Siya crew that Chiefs are now considering raising their budget to R100 million.
Insiders have further revealed that the club's management and board have agreed that to achieve the results, the coach needs the resources required to improve the team.
"They know that without a proper budget they won't get the right players that they want for the team to well and change the fortunes. That's why they are believed to be considering raising the current budget to R100m. Initially at the start of the season they had a R60m budget and it didn't bring them the players they wanted. They believe the R100m will make a big difference in negotiating and buying the players they want," the source revealed to the Siya crew.

Meanwhile, another insider added that part of the R100 million is expected to be used to bring in Oswin Appollis and Fiston Mayele during the January transfer window.
"They plan to increase the planned offers for both Appollis and Mayele. That's because they have also increased the budget and they want things to work for them.," the source added.
