The Siya crew has been led to believe that one of Kaizer Chiefs' new signings is ready to feature in the matchday squad in their opening clash of the season this weekend.
Amakhosi travel to the Free State to take on Marumo Gallants on Saturday, hoping to make a good start with new head coach Nasreddine Nabi at the helm.

The Soweto giants have been busy in the market and one of their new signings, Bongani Sam, is believed to be ready for selection after recovering from injury.
Sam was part of the team that travelled to Turkey for pre-season, but returned early after picking up an injury. He came back at the same time with Edmilson Dove, who is out with injury heading into the new campaign.
Sam, a former Orlando Pirates left back, has been involved in training sessions since recovering from injury and the Siya crew has been led to believe that there is a chance for him to form part of the travelling team to the Free State.

As a former Bloemfontein Celtic player, Sam would no doubt love to get his Chiefs debut at Free State Stadium and fight to become the first choice left back under Nabi.
Bradley Cross, another new signing for this season, is one of Nabi's other options at left back.
