Cavin Johnson isn't reading too much into suggestions made by two of his counterparts that Absa Premiership log leaders Kaizer Chiefs are one dimensional in their approach ahead of his Black Leopards side hosting Amakhosi.
Earlier in the week, Cape Town City's Jan Olde Riekerink insisted that his men were only caught by "high balls into the box" when they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
All three goals were headers from Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic and Erick Mathoho.
A few days later, coach Pitso Mosimane also argued that he would also rely on the height of the Chiefs players if that were his team.
But Johnson offered a different point of view.
"I would not say they are one dimensional," the Leopards coach said.
"Yes, they can rely on their strikers upfront for set-pieces, but they can also play. They are not fancy. But they have George Maluleka in midfield who can play the ball through the middle and is often the one who supplies those corner kicks. But he is suspended."
Amakhosi do also have Kearyn Baccus, Lebogang Manyama, Dumisani Zuma and Khama Billiat to change their approach during the game, Johnson argued.
Leopards, who are tied on 16 points with bottom of the log outfit Polokwane City, are desperate to end an awful run of three straight defeats on Saturday at the Thohoyandou Stadium when Chiefs visit. Johnson is yet to pick up any points since taking over after the Christmas recess.
