From Magesi's upset over Orlando Pirates to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns progressing comfortably with emphatic wins, the opening round of the Carling Knockout has served up a treat.
27 goals were scored across the eight round of 16 matches with Downs, the Glamour Boys and Cape Town City scoring five, four and three goals in their respective wins.
Sundowns' Thapelo Morena, Stellenbosch's Devin Titus and Chiefs' Gaston Sirino produced some superb efforts in front of goal, with the Last 8 promising to see more scintilating knock-out blows among the Betway Premiership's top sides.
Masandawana will take on Amakhosi in the standout quarter-final fixture, while defending champs, Stellies are set to take on Marumo Gallants.
