Masandawana and Bafana Bafana utility player Thapelo Morena is turning 32 today and has been showered with birthday love, with a special dedication post from his significant other.
Morena's wife, Carol, penned a lengthy but beautiful post, filled with warmth and gratitude for the player, which gave fans another look into their strong bond as a couple.
The pacey winger and fullback, who is entering his 10th season in a Sundowns shirt, prides himself on being a doting father of three and a loving husband to his wifey, and Carol's post partly encapsulates the positive role Morena plays in his family's life.
"Today, I celebrate more than just your birthday; I celebrate the man you are," wrote Mrs Morena, who added:
"You have been my anchor, my safe place, and the biggest believer in me, even on days I didn't believe in myself. Your love is steady, your discipline inspiring, and your aura lights up every space you walk into
"There's a quiet strength in you, a presence that commands respect without ever raising your voice. That's rare, and I don’t take it for granted
"You're funny when I need to laugh, strict when I need structure, and supportive through every up and down. Watching you be a father to our kids is one of the greatest joys of my life. The way they look at you with admiration it's because you lead by example, with grace, kindness, and unwavering dedication," wrote Carol in the tear-jerking tribute to Morena.
"I'm so proud of the man you are — the hard worker, the protector, the provider, the dream builder. And I’m beyond grateful to do this life with you.
