Swallows chairman antagonizes Amakhosi

The hype of this Sunday's clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows has been heating up on social media this week.

The Swallows chairman, Mogashoa, has been doing his best to rile up the Amakhosi supporters and the powers at be at the club with his posts this week.

Mogashoa was quick to make fun of Chiefs' unfavourable league position in the bottom half, as Cavin Johnson's side find themselves in tenth place, while Steve Komphela's chargers are fifth, six points off the top of the table with two games in hand.

Mogoshoa shared an old picture of Kaizer Motaung Jr sitting in a dugout, bantering that Amakhosi are in a relegation and are fighting to be above Morgan Mammila and Chippa United:

Before taking a dig at Motaung Jr, that involved Mammila, Mogashoa laid out the permutations if his side manage to inflict defeat on the struggling Glamour Boys:

"We go into this Fixture sitting 5th on the log. They are 10th. If they lose this match and the clubs below them win … they will know what's sitting alone at the playoffs feel like," wrote the Birds chairman.

Kaizer Chiefs' communications manager Alpheus 'Vina' Maphosa has also been doing his bit to annoy the Dube Birds, sharing a picture of Cavin Johnson writing:

"Let us show them flames coach - 'shoot down' the Birds. Amakhosi, let us rally behind the team."
