The story
One of the PSL's fan favourites, Sipho Mbule has found some form in the early stages of the new season, resulting in supporters showing him love on social media.
Mbule, who is currently on loan at Babina Noko, has been a bright spark for Lehlohonolo Seema's chargers in the heart of their midfield.
The Sundowns loanee helped Sekhukhune exact revenge on Richards Bay after a 2-0 win at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Mbule's impressive displays for the Limpopo-based team have earned him a spot in Hugo Broos' 33-man preliminary squad to take on Uganda and South Sudan in the upcoming AFCON Qualifiers.
His first goal of the season has undoubtedly enhanced his chances of making the final 23-man squad for the challenging away match against the Cranes of Uganda on 15 November, followed by clash against South Sudan at DHL Stadium on 19 November.
Although 'MasterChef' is cooking up a storm at Sekhukhune, he still has his work cut out for him in terms of finding his place in Mamelodi Sundowns' squad from next season onwards.
For now, Mbule's rich vein in form is not only getting him Bafana recognition, but also making him rich after scooping the R100k Man of the Match prize in Sekhukhune's Carling Knockout Cup loss to Natal Rich Boyz two weeks ago.

Here's what supporters had to say about Mbule's Bafana selection and his recent performances:
I'm really happy for Sipho Mbule. He's back on the pitch, playing regularly and enjoying his football. Special talent like that deserves this.

Sipho Mbule on 92% pass completion so far for Sekhukhune shows what he can achieve when there's something to play for, contrast that with Riva on 96% pass completion this season on his normal game

Sipho Mbule is another example of why stock piling players is bad for the national team. Earlier this month, we saw Aubass showing his quality for Bafana Bafana again. The national team is better off when all these players play regularly for their clubs.

Still maintain that Sipho Mbule is perhaps the most press resistant player in the PSL

A big man with great feet. Such a ridiculous talent.
Sipho Mbule had to go and play 3 matches for Sekhukhune FC to be called up in the national team, leaving behind abo Maboe and Mkhulise behind. This football thing is strange ????
