The story
With 19 top flight goals in his career, former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ryan Moon will hope for a goal-laden 2024/25 season with Golden Arrows, as prepares to enter his third season at the club.
After finishing the 2023/24 season outside the top eight, Moon and his teammates have a huge task on their hands to restore Arrows' place as a top half club in the Betway Premiership.
The Durban-based outfit will open their campaign against the high-flying Stellenbosch FC at the Athlone Stadium on Wednesday, 18 September and Abafana Bes'thende will be desperate kickstart the season with a W.
Speaking at training to Arrows sponsor, 10Bet South Africa, Moon was asked to name the PSL's top five strikers. The 27-year-old humbly excluded himself from the list and named a teammate among local football's sharpest shooters.
