The story
Sekhukhune United goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner has reached another impressive academic milestone, graduating with a Higher Certificate in Sports Sciences from the University of Pretoria (UP).
Babina Noko proudly shared the news on their social media platforms, congratulating the 27-year-old shot-stopper for his continued pursuit of education alongside his budding football career.
"Good job, 'Pie' Babina Noko are proud of your accomplishments, both on and off the pitch!" wrote the club in announcing Leaner's graduation from UP.
The Bafana Bafana international already boasts a distinguished academic CV, as he previously earned a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of the Western Cape and a Sports Psychology qualification from UNISA.
On the field, Leaner is continuing to shine, maintaining the strong form he displayed last season.
He has already kept three clean sheets in just four league matches, playing a key role in helping Sekhukhune set the pace at the top of the Betway Premiership standings.
