PSL Social Media log

The DStv Premiership's social media log has been revealed and the big three make up the top three places on the social media followings list, with Sundowns enjoying the biggest spike in numbers.

Masandawana have a 23% increase in followers since 2023, owing to their improving social media content, their formidable form on the pitch and the amount of Bafana Bafana players in their ranks among many other aspects.

On Twitter/X, Downs have long surpassed the 1 million followers-mark, as they currently sit with 1.1 million! On Instagram, they've yet to him that magic million, boasting over 700k followers.

The Brazilians are huge on Facebook, garnering over 2 million followers on the platform, but are quite a distance away from the Buccaneers who boats 3.5 million followers on the app, with Chiefs having a mammoth 4.5 million followers on Mark Zuckerberg's first social media app.

On Twitter/X, the Sea Robbers sit on 2 million followers, with Chiefs just short of 3 million supporters on the micro-blogging app. On IG, their followership isn't as high, as Bucs have less followers than Sundowns with just 687k, while Chiefs edge closer to that million with 928k.
