Despite being one of the PSL's leading midfielders last season, Mvala will have to face up to competition from the likes of Hlompho Kekana, Lesedi Kapinga, George Maluleka, Andile Jali, Rivaldo Coetzee, Grant Margeman, Tiyani Mabunda and Aubrey Modiba in Sundowns' engine room.
A hard grafter on the pitch, Mvala appears to be somewhat a cool, calm and collected figure away from the game. Often taking to Instagram, Mvala is usually seen wearing a bucket hat and jeans, a popular fashion combo among footballers in the local game.
