Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was welcomed back by Chippa United in truly grand fashion, after a stellar AFCON campaign.
Nwabali landed in Gqeberha on Monday and was met by Chippa United players, staff and supporters at the airport after a short visit back to Nigeria.

Hero's welcome for Nwabali
After a breakthrough Africa Cup of Nations campaign with the Super Eagles, Stanley Nwabali is finally back with his DStv Premiership club, Chippa United.
The Chilli Boys keeper helped his nation to four clean sheets at AFCON in the Ivory Coast, where they fell at the last hurdle to the hosts in Abidjan.
Proudly wearing his AFCON silver medal, Nwabali seemed delighted to receive such a positive reception upon his return to Mzansi yesterday.
His Chippa United family and fans showed up in numbers to welcome him back from Nigeria, where he was conferred with a chieftaincy title in his hometown.
Nwabali was also gifted N20 million by a Governor from his home state was bestowed with the honour of Distinguished Service Star of Rivers State for his AFCON showing.
"Thanks so much my lovely family @chippaunitedfc," wrote Nwabali on his Instagram stories, where he also showed appreciation to the Nigerian supporters that showed up to welcome him back to SA.
