The Citizens booked out a section at nightlife venue Cubana for their end of season awards.
The awards followed the team's convincing 2-0 victory at home to Richards Bay, giving the ballers another good reason to groove their Saturday night away.

CTC celebrate awards at Cubana
Cape Town City headed to one of the buzzing city's many nightlife venues, Cubana, to celebrate their best players of the season.
Dripped out in their finest streetwear outfits, the ballers were present with their partners at the unique awards evening, where they celebrated the end of another decent season in South Africa's top flight.
Experienced midfielder Thabo Nodada received the The Long Service award for being one of the longest serving players on the team, having being there when John Comitis purchased Mpumalanga Black Aces and rebranded it to Cape Town City.

Promising 20-year-old Jaedin Rhodes received the Young Player of the Season award, with Bafana Bafana stars Taariq Fielies and Khanyisa Mayo bagging the Players' Player of the Season and Player of the Season awards respectively.
Like Nodada, defender Keanu Cupido received a special accolade, The Citizen Award, which honours a player who gives his all for the team.

Club awards don't normally take place at a nightlife venue like Cubana Foreshore, where CTC celebrated over the weekend, but the Citizens might've started a trend for the other DStv Premiership clubs to follow.
Along with Cubana franchise, their are a host of other well known groove spots that teams could use for an awards evening.
