East Landon fans were treated to a thrilling conclusion to the final leg of the 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge at Dale College, as City Lads FC and Chippa United reclaimed their provincial crowns in style securing, their place at the prestigious Engen Champ of Champs in October.

The Eastern Cape’s top youth teams on the final day delivered electrifying football that lived up to the tournament’s legacy as a launchpad for South Africa’s future stars.

In the girls’ division, City Lads FC edged out defending champions Nav Galaxy Ladies with a hard-fought 1–0 victory, reclaiming the title they last held in 2023. The match was a tactical battle from start to finish, with City Lads’ discipline and determination proving the difference.
