According to sources, Jacobs is unlikely to continue with Bucs' youngsters next season. Pirates finished in a disappointing 6th place on the 2017/18 MDC season log.
"It has been an average season by our standards. We started well and ended well but experienced a tough middle patch where we dropped points and lost games which we should have won," Jacobs recently told Bucs' official website.

"From that perspective, it's disappointing because overall, we felt like we could go all the way this season, and if you look at some of the results that derailed us, we now find ourselves in our current situation.
"Looking at the positives, we have more wins than last season and have played a better brand of football as well," said the former technical analyst.
