Mamelodi Sundowns 4-1 Bidvest Wits

Mamelodi Sundowns got their first win of the campaign with a 4-1 thumping of Bidvest Wits in their MDC encounter on Sunday afternoon.

Eric Ntlaba put the Brazilians ahead after just six minutes, before the player got his second of the game in the 56th minute.

Liam Jordan pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 81st minute. Matlala Makgalwa extended Sundowns lead three minutes later, before Percy Tau in the final stages of the game.

Orlando Pirates 2-1 Ajax Cape Town

Orlando Pirates also got their MDC campaign up and running with a 2-1 win over Ajax Cape Town at the Rand Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Jacky Motshegwa handed the Buccaneers the lead, before Ayanda Gcaba doubled the lead in the second half.

While, Asive Langwe grabbed a consolation for the Urban Warriors late in the second stanza.

Mpumalanga Black Aces 4-4 Golden Arrows 

Mpumalanga Black Aces and Golden Arrows played out to a eight-goal thriller, which ended in a 4-4 draw at the Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Arrows' Sibusiso Sibeko was the standout performer bagging a hat-trick, while Kwanele Hlongwane got other goal.

Meanwhile, Aces had four different scorers, namely,  Bryan Permul, Marco Alfonso, Judas Moseamedi and Thabo Nodada, who secured the equaliser with the final kick of the game.

Free State Stars 0-1 SuperSport United

SuperSport United returned to winning ways in the MDC, after secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Free State Stars at Clarens Stadium.

The only goal of the game was scored by Khanyisa Mayo in the 76th minute.
