Orlando Pirates got back to winning ways after beating TS Galaxy 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Tsakane Stadium.

Skipper Thabiso Monyane gave the Buccaneers a dream start with the opener in just the third minute and Cassius Spandiel got the second goal eight minutes later.

Kaizer Chiefs suffered their tenth defeat of the campaign after going down 1-0 against Royal AM on Saturday afternoon at Mpumalanga Stadium.

Thando Buthelezi broke the deadlock for Sundowns nine minutes before the half-time break but Thato Mabunda levelled matters for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa just before the hour-mark.

SuperSport United won their third game in four matches after hammering AmaZulu 5-2 courtesy of a brace by Thalente Mbatha on Saturday morning at Mpumalanga Stadium.

Mbatha netted a brace alongside goals from Tendamudzimu Matodzi, Thabang Mahlangu and Mpama.

Tebogo Masuku and Siphamandla Zikhali scored what proved to be consolation goals for Usuthu.

Swallows picked up only their fifth win of the season after edging Golden Arrows in a seven-goal thriller on Saturday morning at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Tiniko Sithole and Mnqobi Mkhize gave the Birds a two-goal lead early in the first stanza but Masaladi and Senzo Hlophe got two goals from behind to level matters for Arrows going into the half-time break.

Mkhize made it 3-2 for Swallows on the hour-mark and completed his brace but Bongumusa Nkosi equalised again for Abafana Bes'thende 22 minutes before time.

However, Phelelani Mvelase eventually snatched the winner for the visitors ten minutes from time.
