Thandani 'Bibo' Ntshumayelo is hard at work as he looks to reclaim his starting berth in the Orlando Pirates midfield, following injury spells.
Bibo to miss CAF trip due to injury
The 24-year old was ruled out of Bucs' first leg CAF Confederation Cup play-off tie against AS Kaloum played in Mali due to an upper respiratory tract infection which sidelined him for three weeks.
Now fully recovered and raring to go for first team action, the stocky midfielder informed the Siya crew that he is relishing the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup clashes, starting with next week Saturday's encounter against AC Leopards.
"I'm fully fit and waiting for my chance to play," Bibo informs the Siya crew.
"Injuries are the worst as they stop your progress, however it's part of the game. I'm just happy to be back."
"It's great that we are competing in the CAF tournament. This gives all the players a chance to play. I would like to make a bigger impact in our CAF games and it starts with being fully fit and available," concluded the Bucs midfielder.
The Soweto giants easily booked their place in the Group stages of the competition after seeing off Kaloum 6-1 on aggregate.
Bucs and Leopards will clash on June 27, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
