Pirates were drawn against Guinea side, AS Kaloum in the final eight play-offs of the CAF Confederation Cup, after seeing off CF Mounana on Saturday night.

And SAFA President, Dr. Danny Jordaan, is confident the Buccaneers' experience in Africa will continue to make the country proud.

"We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Orlando Pirates on a fine display over the weekend against the Gabonese opponents," Jordaan said in a statement released by SAFA.

"They are now closer to the business end of the competition and we want to wish them luck in their play-off match against AS Kaloum.

"We are confident with their vast experience on the continent that they will continue to make our country proud. We wish them all the best."
