The drama involving the abandonded Cairo Derby has left Pyramids in limbo, as the Cour of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) have revealed the case could take a few months after releasing a statement on Friday.
If so, league leaders Al Ahly could win the league if they win their final Premier League encounter, denying Pyramids their first title.
"We had a great season this year, and we don't want to forget what we've achieved. We will continue to give our best until the end, and we are waiting for the decisions regarding the Al Ahly points deduction crisis," Adel told WinWin.
"The most important thing for us now is to focus on winning the African Champions League final. The issue of deducting the three points from Al Ahly has certainly created a crisis, but we will not allow anything to hinder us until the final decision is made."
