Thabo Rakhale scored the only goal of the game to hand Pirates all three points in their 1-0 win over Sfaxien in the last CAF Confederation Cup encounter in Sfax on July 26.
The Soweto giants now have six points, three shy of Egyptian side Zamalek who lead the group on nine points. Sfaxien and AC Leopards bring up the rear with a point a piece.
With two teams qualifying from the group, the Buccaneers will be looking to put a foot in the door by claiming all three points against their Tunisian counterparts.
A win for both Bucs and Zamalek (who play Leopards) would see both teams qualify with just a top spot finish left to play for from the remaining two games.
The fourth round Group B tie between Pirates and Sfaxien will be broadcast live on SABC 3, with the game commencing at 20h15.
