Orlando Pirates Player Ratings v AC Leopards

Orlando Pirates Player Ratings v AC Leopards
Soccer Laduma rates the individual performances of the Orlando Pirates players, following their 1-0 win over AC Leopards.   Orlando Pirates ratings:   Brighton Mhlongo: 7   Proved to a match-winning display from the Buccaneers shot-stopper, as he pulled off a few fine saves to keep the hosts from scoring.   Ntsikelelo Nyauza: 6.5   Looked solid at right-back, hardly put a foot wrong but hardly managed to get forward, mostly because Leopards were dominating.   Happy Jele: 7.5   Proved to be a real rock in the heart of the defence, frustrating the Leopards attackers, while he also popped up with the winning goal in the second half.   Siyabonga Sangweni: 6.5    Much like Jele, hardly put a foot wrong in defence and was key in restricting the home to efforts from distance.   Thabo Matlaba: 6.5   Didn't see much of his offensive game due to Leopards's domination, although he was solid defensively throughout the game.   Issa Sarr: 7   Proved to be a real stalwart in the Buccaneers midfield, he put in a few good challenges and was dominant during aerial battles.   Oupa Manyisa: 6   Failed to stamp his authority on the game but was willing to defend throughout the 90 minutes.    Thabo Rakhale: 6   Hardly got a sniff of joy down the right flank but he did managed to help defensively.   Sifiso Myeni: 6   Much like Rakhale struggled to get into the game offensively, but was willing to track back and help Matlaba defensively.   Lennox Bacela: 6   Left isolated upfront with not much service but worked tirelessly along with Erasmus.   Kermit Erasmus: 6   Hardly got into the game and was closed quickly when ever he was in possession and was eventually replaced in the second half.   Substitutes:   Thandani Ntshumayelo: 6   Brought on in the final 20 minutes to add numbers in the midfield and did well to keep the hosts at bay.   Lehlonhonolo Majoro: NA   Only played the final 10 minutes in place Gabuza, while he hardly had a touch of the ball.
