The Siya crew can confirm that the CAF Confederation Cup first leg play-off clash between Orlando Pirates and AS Kaloum Star will not be televised.
The crew got in touch with Bucs Administrative Officer, Floyd Mbele who confirmed that the broadcast rights for the clash were owned by the broadcaster in Mali and that no arrangements had been made to have the match available to South African viewers.
"Unfortunately the TV rights are in that country and so the broadcaster in Mali would be in charge of what happens in terms of the match being broadcasted," explained Mbele.
"This is an away match for Pirates so we don't decide on such matters," he further added.
The crew earlier reported that the Bucs squad arrived safely in Dakar, Senegal where they were scheduled to take a connecting flight to Mali.
