Pirates continue their CAF Confederation Cup journey when they take on AC Leopards in the Republic of Congo on Saturday.
However, they will be without the services of Mahamutsa and Gabuza, who will be serving a one-match ban, although the latter did pick up a knock on international duty with Bafana Bafana.
"Look, obviously we would like to have all our players available for selection so I'd be lying if I said we wouldn't miss them but having said that we have capable players who are ready to step up and continue from where these two have left off and I suppose that is the beauty of coaching a well-balanced side," Tinkler told the club's official website.
"We have other defenders who have regularly done well for us in the competition thus far, I mean it is vitally important that we are getting back the services of Siyabonga Sangweni who had been doing well prior to his suspension ahead of the second leg against AS Kaloum. "
It also works in our favour that our players were also had a good run with Bafana Bafana recently, including the likes of Tshepo Gumede, Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Patrick Phungwayo and Thabo Matlaba in defence.
Gabuza has been on fine form recently, but Tinkler added the has enough fire-power at his disposal to cope with the loss,
"With regards to our striking department we have enough options, I mean we have (Lennox) Bacela, (Lehlohonolo) Majoro, (Kermit) Erasmus and (Helder) Pelembe is back at training so we have enough options to choose from upfront," he added.
