Edward Motale Feels SA Teams Should Learn From Orlando Pirates

Former Orlando Pirates captain and CAF Champions League winner, Edward "Magents " Motale told the Siya crew that other South African teams should learn from Pirates and be serious about African competitions. 'Magents' believes if teams do well in Africa, it will help the national team perform, because of the experience they've gained. "Teams should learn from Pirates," Motale said. "Teams should take African tournaments serious because the experience the teams gain but playing in those club championships help the country as a whole. "You remember after winning the Champions League in 1995 Pirates had many players in the national team which went on to win the Afcon in 1996. It really helps and teams should take it serious."
