Mbekile: I Have To Work Even Harder Now
Sundowns are currently the only South African team competing in the CAF Champions League group stages and have started brightly, beating FC Enyimba after their away win against Setif was nullified due to the Algerian team's disqualification.
Midfielder, Themba Zwane told journalists during the launch of the SAB Under 21 national championships that he will make the best of the chance provided to him in the continental competition.
"It's good to play in Africa," he told the Siya crew. "Everybody at the club wants to play week in week out and if given the chance I want to make the best of it."
The 26-year-old went on to say that his team are hoping to go all the way in the competition, a feat which has only been achieved once before in South African football.
"I want to help the club in our quest to conquer Africa. It won't be easy but we are ready to fight all the way until the end," Zwane concluded.
