Five Mamelodi Sundowns FC players and one Kaizer Chiefs star have been nominated for the African-based CAF African Player of the Year.
Sundowns have enjoyed an impressive run in this year's 2016 CAF Champions League campaign and have qualified for the final.
The likes of Keagan Dolly, Hlompho Kekana, Denis Onyango and Khama Billiat have all been rewarded for their performances by being included in the 25-man shortlist.
Fellow Sundowns forward, Yannick Zakri has also been nominated for the award for his performances for ASEC Mimosas.
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, who starred at the Olympic Games for the South African U23 side, has also been included in the 25-man shortlist.
