Head Coach Pitso Mosimane's illustrious year at the helm of Mamelodi Sundowns saw him deservedly receive a nomination for the 2016 CAF Coach of the Year award.
The former Bafana Bafana head coach walked away with the 2015/16 Coach of the Season award at the PSL ceremony last year and is now in line to clinch the title of the best coach on the African continent.
The 52-year-old CAF Champions League winning mentor guided Masandawana to their seventh Absa Premiership League title (in the 2015/16 season) and conquered Africa.
After bringing the CAF Champions League trophy back to South Africa for the first time since 1995, and claiming victories over the likes of Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek, the coach's exploits were recognised by the African football fraternity.
