Ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns' opening CAF Champions League clash with ES Setif on Saturday, Pitso Mosimane has said that his team are ready to learn from their previous mistakes when playing in Africa.
The Sundowns coach saw his team eliminated from the tournament, only to be reinstated after the team he lost to, Medeama, were disqualified after fielding an ineligible player. But now that he's been given a second chance, the former Bafana Bafana trainer is determined to learn from the mistakes made in the past.
"This is a second chance to us," he told the Siya crew. "We know now what is expected of us and we have learnt lessons on how to approach the games in Africa."
Mosimane went on to say that he hopes to pick up draws away from home and to emerge victorious from the fixtures in front of the Brazilians' fans.
"We have to at least come back with a point and win our games at home. Obvious it won't be an easy assignment but it's one we are ready to tackle head on," Mosimane explained.
