Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, has been nominated for the CAF Coach of the Year award.

Mosimane has enjoyed a very successful year, having led Sundowns to the CAF Champions League title, ABSA Premiership title and Telkom Knockout.
The other four nominated coaches are Florent Ibenge (DR Congo) , Milutin Sredojevic (Uganda), , Nacer Sandjak (Algeria) and Florence Omagbemi (Super Falcons).

The 2016 Glo-CAF Awards Gala is scheduled to be hold on Thursday, 5 January 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria.
