The Brazilians booked their spot in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League, after defeating Egyptian giants Zamalek 1-0.
Mosimane reserved special praise for Teko Modise, who returned to the line-up after Tiyani Mabunda missed the clash through suspension.
"We could have scored more, we ended up enjoying the game. They have confidence on the ball and they dominated," Mosimane said after the game.
"Percy (Tau) is always a game changer, but I'm happy with Teko (Modise) tonight, especially when they didn't press us on the ball and we spread all the passes, very good.
Sundowns did create a number of chance on the night and managed one goal, but Mosimane was just pleased to get the desired result.
"We got what we wanted, we got the three points and we dominated the game, and by the way, we played Zamalek, so it's good," he added.
