Following Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League victory over Algeria's ES Setif, former striker, Phil Masinga, believes that the performance is an indication that they can go far in the tournament.

Sundowns got off to the perfect start in the group stages with an impressive 2-0 win away from home, which Masinga thinks is exactly what they needed.
"That's what Sundowns needed," he told the Siya crew. "They needed to start on a good result mainly as they were playing away."
The former Leeds United striker went on to say that if Sundowns can continue in the same vein of form, they may even go all the way in this year's tournament.
"If they can continue like that even at home then they can go all the way. They have the chance now because they know what to expect from other teams," the Bafana Bafana legend concluded.
