Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits's opponents for their CAF Champions League campaigns have been revealed.
Sundowns Nominated For Top CAF Award
Sundowns, who are defending the champions will enter the competition after the preliminary round. Pitso Mosimane's charges will face the winners of the winners of the KCCA v Club D.1e Agosto encounter. The defending champions will be at home in the first leg with the scheduled to take place on the weekend of 10-12 March 2017, with the return taking place the following week. While, Bidvest Wits will take on AS Saint Louisianne in their preliminary round fixture. The Clever Boys will host Louisianne on the weekend of 10-12 February 2017, with the return leg taking place the following weekend.
If wits manage to make it past the preliminary stage, they will meet Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the next round.
