Against Zimbabwe's FC Platinum, during their CAF Champions League match on Friday, Ndengane seemed to struggle to deal with attacks from the opponents.
One of the former Bloemfontein Celtic defender's mistake led to a goal, as Sredojevic explained after the match.
"From point of Alfred Ndengane, he is a great gentleman, a player that is giving 200% always. Two mistakes have been unfortunate, and having in mind his experience, we thought that his experience is needed until the end of the game. Two costly mistakes – penalty and that second goal," Sredojevic told the media after the match.

"However, it's easy to throw a player under the bus. It's very important to give him a hand and tell him, 'Look, it happened, let us be a team. All of us are behind you, don't think about this, what happened. Pay us back now. Focus and concentrate.' I think he has paid back with his performance until the end of the game," added the coach.
The Buccaneers' last Group B match will be against Guinea's Horoya AC in Conakry on Saturday.
