A move to a club in the PSL could be on the cards for Ayabulela Konqobe as plans for the new season are underway around the league.
Following his exit from AmaZulu before the end of the 2018/19 season, Konqobe is back home in the Western Cape and in search of a new club.

As reported in edition 1126 of Soccer Laduma, the former South African Under-20 captain appears to be attracting interest from Stellenbosch FC.
The newly promoted PSL outfit is believed to be keen on having a look at the defender, with a view to potentially add him to their squad as coach Steve Barker and his technical team are believed to be looking for players with experience to add to the team for the club's first ever PSL season.
"There has been talk of him (Konqobe) possibly joining the club (Stellenbosch). The coach (Barker) showed interest in him during the season already, towards the end of the season," confirmed the source.

"But, at the time, the club's focus was on winning promotion to the PSL from the last few games of the season. You must remember that the coach previously worked with the player at AmaZulu, so he knows him very well. It wouldn't come as a surprise if Ayabulela ends up joining Stellenbosch," added the source.
