Banyana Banyana star, Refiloe Jane, today hit a major milestone for her country, and was given the captain's armband to put the cherry on the cake.

Despite being just 26-years-old, the midfielder has already racked up a century of appearances for her country, and is unlikely to be stopping any time soon as she takes aim at taking Banyana to even greater heights.

Having made her debut back in 2012, the vice-captain is expected to be one of the first names in the squad when Desiree Ellis names her troops for the Women's World Cup later this year, and the Canberra United maestro will be looking to add to her 12 goals for her country in the coming months.
Jane joins the likes of Noko Matlou, Janine van Wyk and Amanda Dlamini as players who have represented Banyana at least 100 times, and she was able to play her role roday in helping Ellis' side twice come from behind to grab a draw with Finland.
Leandra Smeda, from the penalty spot, and Thembi Kgatlana scored second half goals as the team showed fight to bounce back from being 1-0 and 2-1 down in the Cyprus Cup, and Jane was presented with a special centurion shirt for her efforts as they now turn their attentions to facing Korea DPR on Friday evening.
