Banyana Banyana and Sweden could not be separated as they played to a goalless draw in the Albertina Sisulu Centenary Challenge on Tuesday evening.
Desiree Ellis' charges were involved in action a few days ago when they went down 2-1 to the Netherlands as they began their preparations for the World Cup.
Banyana had to make do without the services of captain Janine van Wyk, who missed out through injury. Refiloe Jane was handed the armband on the day.
The visitors had the first opening of the game after 15 minutes, with Stina Blackstenius forcing Andile Dlamini into a fine save
Banyana, meanwhile, showed a little promise going forward but they were unable to carve out any serious openings at the Swedish goal in the opening 45 minutes.
Thembi Kgatlana, who was on target against the Dutch, had an opening for Banyana after 57 minutes but her strike was saved by Alisson.
The tempo picked up as the second half continued with both sides looking for the breakthrough goal, while Banyana's Linda Motlhalo went close with an effort from distance after 75 minutes.
The Swedes went even closer five minutes later after hitting the crossbar as the tempo increased in the latter stages.
Banyana had a chance to win the game in second-half stoppage time, but Jermaine Seoposenwe was unable to convert from a free-kick as the encounter ended goalless.
