Now, for a shot of a spot in the final of the AWCON competition as well as a spot in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, Ellis explained that although hard work, her side will not need any motivation for the clash against Mali.
"Now, that it's a World Cup spot up for grabs, it's not negotiable, we have to play through whatever tiredness and whatever happens on the field, you've got to leave yourself on the field and make sure that you give your all," Ellis said on SAFA's official website.
"Mali is not going to be easy, they knocked out the host and Ghana is a pretty good team.
"We will have to make the best of our situation and make sure that we are as fresh as possible and have a superhuman effort in the 90 minutes.
"…If was playing a semi-final and winning me the semi-final guarantees me a place at the World Cup, I don't think anyone needs motivation," she said.
