Desiree Ellis has named her Banyana Banyana squad to face Egypt in an international friendly encounter, which will take place on 22 October.
SAFA confirmed Ellis as the interim coach of the South African's women squad, after head coach Vera Pauw parted ways with the national team.
"The Women Africa Cup of Nations will be played in Cameroon's capital of Yaounde and Limbe. Banyana Banyana are in Group A, together with hosts Cameroon, Egypt and Zimbabwe, while Group B consists of Nigeria, Mali, Ghana and Kenya," SAFA stated in a press-release.
"I am excited about this project. I am looking forward to this coming week and thereafter," said Ellis on her appointment.
"It is a good and well balanced squad and I am confident (we) will pick up from where we left off during the Olympics," Ellis revealed.
This is the squad that will face Egypt in the international friendly.
