COSAFA Women's Championship holders Banyana Banyana finished with a perfect record in Group A after romping to a 7-0 victory over Comoros on Monday afternoon.
Desiree Ellis' charges had already secured passage to the semi-finals after their 5-0 win over Eswatini last Friday.
The South Africans got off the perfect start on Monday afternoon as Sibulele Holweni got the scoring underway as early as the eighth minute with an effort from distance.
It got better for Banyana and Holweni after 30 minutes, with the South African winger completing her brace with a simple finish at the far post.
Mapula Kgoale came close to getting on the score-sheet nine minutes later but her powerful effort crashed against the frame of the goal. Kgoale then turned provider three minutes before the break by sending Hilda Magaia through on goal before the latter made no mistake with a close-range finish.
It was more of the same in the second half, as Comoros had no answer Ellis' charges who went on to bag two goals in the opening six minutes, with Holweni completing her hat-trick before Kgoale found the back of the net with a neat free-kick.
Banyana managed to see out the rest of the encounter with relative ease, but a sixth goal arrived in the 88th minute through Holweni who bagged a fourth goal with a header from close range.
There was enough time for Holweni to bag a fifth goal in the fifth minute of time added on to round off an emphatic victory for the hosts.
Ellis' troops ended the group stage phase having scoring 14 goals while keeping three successive clean sheets.
