Russell Paul, the SAFA acting CEO, has confirmed to the Siya crew the contract length and mandate handed to newly appointed Bafana Bafana coach, Molefi Ntseki.
The association abruptly announced the 50-year-old former national team assistant coach as the permanent successor to Stuart Baxter, who resigned last month following more than two years at the helm and shortly after the Africa Cup of Nations.

Ntseki has immediately been appointed interim coach and had last week named a 23-man squad to face Zambia in a friendly match in Lusaka this coming Saturday.
But that fixture will now officially become his first in charge after he was given the job until the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Asked whether Ntseki had been given a specific mandate following a unanimous decision by the SAFA national executive committee to be hired as Bafana coach, Paul explained what the association now expects from the new man.
"SAFA targets, in line with Vision 2022, are for Bafana Bafana to qualify for the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and to get beyond the group stages, as well as qualifying for 2022 World Cup. We will shortly sit down with coach Ntseki to discuss these issues," the acting CEO told the Siya crew.
Bafana are expected to assemble this week to prepare for their friendly away in Lusaka.
