Head Coach Stuart Baxter made several changes to his Bafana Bafana squad, compared to the list of players that were called up to face Senegal in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The likes of Ryan Moon, Daniel Cardoso and Innocent Maela all received call-ups to the national team, who will be in action later this month in a Four-Nation tournament.

However, despite the fact that Head Coach Baxter revealed that he wants to inject as many youngsters possible into the squad, there have been a few noticeable names, younger and older players, that did not make the pack.

Head Coach Baxter previously showed his faith in Cape Town City's Thamsanqa Mkhize, by awarding the player a place in the starting line-up when the country faced off with Senegal last year, however, the player has been left out of the national team squad this time around.

Morgan Gould and Clayton Daniels were the centre-back partnership that Head Coach Baxter relied on at the time, but the duo has also been left out of the Bafana squad, although, indications are that the Englishman may have wanted to experiment with more youngsters in that position.

Another noticeable exclusion is Lebogang Manyama. The player, who currently plies his trade in Turkey, has been left out of the squad despite making the cut previously, following his stellar performances for City.
